Check your child's development

Short, non-diagnostic awareness tools to help parents notice early — communication, motor skills, behaviour, sensory comfort, and learning patterns.

For parents

A parent's job is to notice — not to diagnose

These short, free guidance tools help parents organize what they observe at home — sleep, communication, motor skills, behavior, learning, sensory comfort. They are NOT diagnostic. Their job is to help you decide whether and when to seek professional guidance.

How to use these tools

Four small steps.

Used well, these tools take 5–10 minutes and give you a clearer picture of what to share with the care team.

Step 1
Pick the tool that fits your concern
Each tool covers one developmental area. Choose the one closest to what you're noticing.
Step 2
Answer honestly, not optimistically
Be honest about what your child actually does today — not what they used to do or what you hope they'll do.
Step 3
Read the guidance, not just the score
The result is guidance, not a label. The most important part is the suggested next step.
Step 4
Save and share
You can save the result, WhatsApp it to our team, or bring it to your consultation. It speeds up the first conversation.

Choose by area of concern.

Each tool focuses on a specific area. Pick the one closest to what you're noticing.

When to seek professional guidance soon
If you notice any of the following, please don't wait for a screening tool. Speak to a qualified developmental professional directly.
  • Loss of a previously acquired skill (e.g., a child who used to babble has stopped).
  • No words by 18 months, or no two-word combinations by 30 months.
  • No eye contact, no response to name, no shared smile by 12 months.
  • Stiffness, floppiness, or one-sided movement patterns at any age.
  • Sudden, persistent change in behavior, sleep, or appetite without obvious cause.
  • Family or teacher concerns repeated across multiple settings.
  • Parent instinct — if something feels off, an early conversation is always worthwhile.

Not sure which tool fits?

Send us a short note about what you're noticing. We'll point you to the right tool — or skip the tool and just book a conversation if that's simpler.
